Points to take care with Visual Basic Add-In

This add-in is quite simple to work with and generally requires Active-X add-in also along with it.

Does Mercury provide support for VB 16 bit application?
No, Mercury does not provide support for VB 16 bit app. To automate this use Low-level recording and apply your scripting skills.

@prasad: Though I know of companies who have developed automated tools for migrating WinRunner scripts to QTP but haven't heard any tool that can migrate scripts developed in RFT to QTP...probably you need to start writing your scripts from scratch for QTP.. well, if you do find any tool, please let us know.

Wanted to automate an application coded in VB using QTP but QTP9.2 is unable to identify the multiple menu options in the menubar uniquely.
Even tried with with low lebel recording.
When the complete window or menu is learned using "spy function" it read the menubar as whole doesn't identify them individualy.
Please help in this issue that QTP will recognise all option in the menubar uniquely and those can be updated in Repository.
